Welcome to Craigieburn Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC) , situated within the Craigieburn Medical and Dental Centre. Our clinic offers free, immediate treatment for non-life-threatening conditions, providing priority care without the need for emergency department visits or when your medical need cannot wait for a GP appointment. Our Priority Primary Care Centre is supported by highly skilled independent doctors and nurses, utilising excellent treatment and procedure room facilities.

If you test positive for COVID-19, it is likely your symptoms will be mild and you can recover safely at home. You can visit the Victorian Government Website to access the care and advice you need.

Where can people with respiratory symptoms seek care?

  1. Recover Safely at Home – with mild to moderate symptoms care advice can be obtained by visiting the Healthdirect website COVID-19 | healthdirect
  2. Contact your usual GP clinic if you need to see someone, your usual doctor can help – either via a telehealth or face-to-face appointment.
  3. It is important to remember to inform the clinic you have flu-like symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19, wear a mask, and follow your practice’s instructions if you are seeing your doctor face-to-face.

  5. If Urgent but not life-threatening symptoms please contact the Virtual Emergency Department online at www.vved.org.au or see a GP at a priority primary care centre.

Please note The Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC) does NOT provide routine PCR testing. We provide care for people with urgent but not life-threatening conditions.

If you are attending a face-to-face appointment at our PPCC, and have respiratory symptoms, you should inform the clinic, wear a mask and follow the clinic’s protocols.
